Our Terms

Very simple.

We ask you to sign off on everything before we order anything.  Sometimes this involves a real piece of paper, and a pen.  Other times, it’s a simple, old fashioned email.

On projects estimated at $1000 or more, we require a deposit – 50% of the original estimate.  Everything else is charged afterwards.  If the project is estimated at $5,000 or more, we only ask for 25% up front.  For clients on retainer, we charge the agreed rate monthly.

All our clients, big and small, are asked to pay in 14 days from invoice date.  We can extend it if you prefer, but need to apply 5% per month.

Suppliers

We’ll work with your preferred people, if you’d like it that way.  Or we’ll use trusted suppliers whom we’ve found to be highly effective on similar jobs.

Third party costs – photography, printing, and so on – are separate to our fees, and are generally paid by you directly to suppliers.  We don’t mark up.  Each supplier we use has their own terms.  We’ll help you get rolling with them.

Web solutions are supported by third party providers. We’ve hand-picked a few that we think are the bees knees – inexpensive, flexible and easy to use. But we can work to fit your favourites too.

Turnaround time

We take this as seriously as you do.  Obviously it varies from job to job, but as a rule, we need 2 weeks to come up with good work.  In that time, we research, brainstorm, discuss, do proofs, incorporate changes, look with fresh eyes, whittle it down, polish it up, apply specs, and oversee delivery.

Rest assured, we’re not playing foosball or whizzing around the office on little scooters while you’re waiting.

Guarantees

Easy.  We stand behind our work.  Obviously, once the  invoice is paid, we take that to mean you’re happy.
